Living Word

I'm trying to get a bible study together with some gals here, so we can dive into Hebrews and let the word go deep.  The studying of our Word is good for our faith; is necessary for our faith.

Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 AMP

So I started to read through Hebrews chapter one and I cannot get past the first two verses.  I'm gonna stew them in my heart, pray we all get mucho revelacion! (much revelation)  I love the word!  Without the bible I would still be doing drugs everyday, killing my body, mind, and soul.  Instead God's Word, yeah the bible, has turned my world completely around.  As you know I live and work here in KC, for the International House of Prayer.

Washed with the Truth of Jesus, our Savior, the Savior of the world, I was renewed in my mind.  All desires for things of death, things of this passing world, faded away like a bad dream.  Now I have a vision for a future of promise of riches, and inheritance shared with the Son of God!  Wow! talk about dreaming big!

So praise God for His friends who wrote the words in the bible, thank God they took the time and money to put down those stories of His goodness towards men.  If the writers of the Old and New Testaments had not sacrificed to buy rare expensive scrolls, pay a scribe, and pick the most important words to transcribe!  I mean have you heard how hard it was to get things written back then?  These words were very important, and are very important.  These words are alive!

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.  John 1:14

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Hawaii Bound

Surf's up!

Our Father in Heaven has blessed me with a trip back to Hawaii to visit my old church and friends.  So I give Praise to God for He loves so well.  I have been invited to preach at Door of Faith while I am there, and I am seeking the Lord, praying to be filled with His Spirit and His word.  I also plan to visit the Justice House of Prayer in Pearl City too.  Please keep me in prayer as I prepare for this journey.  I am in need of money to pay my part of the cost $300, and am also asking for money to bless my church and friends while I am there.  I know the Lord is going to use my testimony, how He changed my life by His love, saved me from death into a life full of His pleasures.  Pray that I would be His witness to those who knew me when I was living like the world, that they would desire to know Jesus too.  To Give: click the DONATE button
