He is God

Jesus said :
"But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven" (Matt 10:33). "He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation" (Mark 16:15-16)...."Peace be with you!" John 20:19

Sometimes I too, like Os Hilman have my reserve thoughts about sharing my faith. What is my faith? I start to say what is the good new? Those questions are actually great! God has brought me out of a life of sex, drugs, and rock n roll, which is leading so many young people to living death and depression, God brought my whole life to a place of reliance on His Son Jesus. When before I had little conviction and reality of the truth of what drinking and doing drugs would lead to, not just in this life, but eternally; Now! I have a greater understanding of what God made me for, and it is not the fading pleasures of this world. He made me because He desired to delight in me, loving me, and giving me heavenly pleasures that will last for all eternity. I will not aimlessly wonder why? Oh God! Why? Now I know that everything is working in me a far greater glory than I can imagine. And that means that some day, as promised, I will have no more tears, no more pain, and I will see Jesus face to face.

"I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ" (Philemon 6-7).

When we share Christ with others God allows us to gain a deeper and greater understanding of every good thing in Christ. Do you see the direct correlation between sharing your faith and your own spiritual growth? Paul says it's actually a prerequisite to spiritual growth. -Os Hilman

I sometimes have thought, that if I tell others what has happened to me they will in no way understand, but who cares! The Spirit of the only living God is the one who put truth in my heart, and He is the one responsible for changing the hearts of men, not me. I just tell how He did it to me, that's my good news. He actually changed me, look at me! My thoughts, my actions, my passions, my joy it is all centered around Him and He alone can satisfy our desire, because as our Creator, He hard-wired those desired into us! So we turn to Jesus! So simple is His love! and So great! His mercy, forgiving the undeserving and His grace, blessing them with extravagant gifts of His love and providence they will never fail! never fail! never!
HE IS GOD. Jesus is real.

The leaves are falling, and as the seasons of nature change, so do the seasons of men. I believe now people are looking for truth and something that is real. If Jesus has done something good in our lives, big or small, Lord help us to share this good news with others. God has touched us, given us joy, strength, blessings, and peace. Thank You Jesus, help us to have simple confidence and peace in telling our little stories of the goodness You have done in our day to days, and our year to years. Pour out Your Spirit Lord on us in these changing times, and on those You have chosen to be Your own; let their hearts be prepared to accept the greatest Love of all. Give us courage Holy Spirit, for we love You.

The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the Lord of hosts. 'And in this place I will give peace,' says the Lord of hosts." Haggai 2:9 NKJ

The hour has come

Praise the Lord! He is good and His mercy will last forever! He will remain merciful forever! He is the same, He never changes! Steadfast and righteous is our God! Good in all His ways! Greatly to be praised! Worthy of our love and devotion, because He has always loved us and showed His devotion to this love by sending His only Son Jesus to die for our sins, and be raised as our righteous King, Judge, and Bridegroom! Holy!
As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. James 5:11 NIV

Are the words of the Lord just words?! Oh! no! they are LIFE! We have a book filled with the words of our Lord, and He is always speaking to us, even singing over us......what does He sing? If He is full of compassion and mercy, I am counting on the truth of His word, and He is speaking good things over us because HE loves us. His compassion, cares about every detail of our little lives and His mercy longs for us to respond back to Him in love. Oh! Yes! Lord! You are good! Thank You bringing salvation from Your own arm to embrace us with an everlasting love that does not disappoint! Thank You Jesus! All other pleasures and worldly desires are fading fast and will not satisfy me! But You God, my God! Have the words of Life, of Love, and only You can satisfy Your creation. Come Jesus! Satisfy my soul! Praise and glory, honor and blessings to You King Jesus!

You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up in the morning, You are still with me! Psalm 139:16-18 NLT

Jesus, You have so much wisdom and knowledge! You have so many thoughts about me, and not just me! Thank You Jesus! Yet will all knowledge about all things, You are full of peace! How rich! Lord Jesus, You never worry, even though Your thoughts are many, You are confident in the love of the Father, that is Your identity, Beloved Son of God! You know the Father so well, that He is for You and nothing could by any means harm You. Now You have prayed.....
Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:1-3

You knew the hour! You know the time that is appointed for the things concerning the will of Father God. Is that why You never worry Jesus? You know the hour! Lord help me to know what hour we are in. Lord help Your body, the church, Your bride to be unified and to have open ears, eyes, and hearts to follow You that Your will may be done on earth as it is in heaven. Help us be Your witnesses that the world would believe that You, Jesus are the Son of God, sent to bring life, and love....the Savior! We believe Your word, and by Your grace and mercy we will be with You forever! Thank You Lord!

I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. John 17:20-21

Overcome

I have been thinking about the Holy City...the New Jerusalem. What do we think about when we think of the return of the King? (besides Lord of the Rings movies) Jesus is the King of all kings, Ruler over the nations, and the only One, True, Living God. He is coming to reign on the earth as Sovereign King. So what about this city He is bringing down from heaven to earth. The city made glad by the streams of the river of the water of life that flows from the throne of God. (Ps.46, Rev.22)
So what do we know about a place that has no sun, needs no light, because the glory of God illuminates everything? In Him there is no darkness, no shadow of turning, everything is exposed! (Rev. 22, 1john1:5, james 1:17, Lk 18:17, 1Cor4:5, Heb4:13)

Please search the scripture for yourselves and ask God for revelation, and share it with me. We need it! Oh God I need revelation! I want to know You Lord! I want to know about You! I want to know about where You are, what You are doing, feeling, thinking! I must know You God! Give us true revelation in our hearts!

Do we all agree that this world is passing away? That this earth is a temporary residence? (Rev 21:1, Matt 24:35, 1 Cor7:31) What should we be looking for? How do we 'Watch'? (Matt24:42, Mk13:37, Lk 21:36, Acts20:31, 1Thes5:6, 1Pet4:7) What happens when we see? Who do we tell? What do we see? (Ez 3:17, 33:7)
What is to come? Who will live? How can we familiarize ourselves with the Most High God and His Holy habitation? Oh! Holy Spirit open our ears and our hearts, put the word of the Lord in our minds and in our hearts, that we may be God's people, and He will be our God! (Heb 10, Jer 31) Bless Israel and bring forth the glory of the Lord in the name of Jesus! We come before the throne of God, by the blood of the Lamb asking Lord for a real revealing of Your love in our hearts that we may speak forth the testimonies of Jesus to the glory of the Father. Deliver us from evil that we may overcome, we ask for strength, wisdom, and understanding, in Jesus name. (Rev12:11, Prov 4, 19, 16) Fill us with Life!

Revelation 21
1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
5He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
6He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

Oh!

Oh! Lord! My shield my strength! I bless Your name, for there is no other God so worthy of praise, in fact there is only one God and that is You. I praise Your name, because You are holy, set apart from all darkness, there is only light in You, my Lord. Thank You for being my Lord, Thank You for providing hope, when all things fall apart around us. Thank You that we are not of this world that we are awaiting the Kingdom of God when the Son of God, Jesus returns, then we will receive our rewards according to our deeds. Lord I desire to do Your will, to know You Jesus. I desire to wait upon You and I cannot afford to be out of Your will God! Time is fleeting, and I am looking to You now God! I know You hear my cries! I know Your plans for me, before the foundation of the world, have been for life abundant, and whatever means and path I must take to get to You, Jesus, Life, Love, Truth, help me to trust You God! I trust You God! Help me God! Thank You for my daily bread, forgive me and help me to forgive! I love You Lord, and I will Love You just as I have been loved by You! Thank You for the promises You give that are 'Yes', flowing from Your river of Life, out of Your being of Love! Oh God! how great You are! I praise You forever! Thank You for mercy, grace, salvation, and faith! Deliver me from evil! Thank You! God, my Jesus, my Savior! my inheritance! Help me to seek first Your kingdom, Lord of glory! All praise to our Holy Father in heaven! Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!
Ecclesiastes 5:15 NIV
Naked a man comes from his mother's womb, and as he comes, so he departs. He takes nothing from his labor that he can carry in his hand.
Job 1:21 NIV
and said: "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised

Love Jesus

But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace. 1 Corinthians 15:10
It is very true that I am not the author and finisher of my own faith, but that Jesus is! In my own strength I produce filthy rags of righteousness and love. Yet! with Holy Spirit living in me and Jesus living through me I have become a representation of God, by God! In me all I have to give God is a heart that says, "Yes Jesus, You are the Son of God, who came to die for my sins, and now is risen to King over all, and I will love You, Jesus by Your grace, I will overcome and endure until the end." So thank You Jesus! Thank You Father God, Holy and Worthy are You Lord, of all praise, honor, glory, blessing, and dominion! It is Yours already! Thank You God for sharing Your love and allowing me to be a glory for You! Yes! Thank You God for working in my life! I am a miracle, walking breathing miracle! Praise the Lord!
What we do see is Jesus, who was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone. God, for whom and through whom everything was made, chose to bring many children into glory. And it was only right that he should make Jesus, through his suffering, a perfect leader, fit to bring them into their salvation. So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters. Hebrews 2:9-11 NLT
I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one as we are one. John 17:9-11 20
Now may the God of peace—who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood—21 may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen. Hebrews 13:20-22 (New Living Translation)

Righteousness

The work of righteousness will be peace,
And the effect of righteousness,
quietness and assurance forever. Isaiah 32:17 NKJ

There is none Lord, like You
Who lives! Beauty so true
The Commander of life
Wants me as His wife
Only in Your presence, rejoice
Son of God, Jesus, my choice.
He's alive! Coming, ready!
He's the Judge, now are you ready!

And the work of righteousness will be peace,
And the service of righteousness,
quietness and confidence forever. Isaiah 32:17 NAS

No doubt, those who wait upon, hope in, and put their trust in the Lord Jesus will dwell in safety forever, and our hearts will be calm. We will rejoice as we see this time of judgment coming on, by His grace, faith will keep our hope alive. Our joy will be made complete as we seek righteousness, and the fruit of it will be peace and trust. When we hear the voice of the Lord drawing near, OH! what joy! what sweet anticipation! The word speaks of things that must happen before the end. God thank You for clearly giving commands that guide us to Jesus, our Righteousness. Help us to obey Your commands. Lord, help us to know Your word, to hear Your voice, and to rejoice! In Jesus name, we ask for revelation of Your heart, Father, and strength and endurance to stand.

Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy; they will sing before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his truth. Psalm 96:11-13

The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom's voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.
John 3:29 NIV

"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command." John 15:9-14

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
John 16:24 NIV

Full of Mercy

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. 1 Corinthians 1:20-22

Jesus is so wonderful. He is real, He is God, He is Creator of all things, and we can interact with Him this very moment, by His grace through Holy Spirit. The Spirit of the only Living God is our gift and guarantee that our lives here on earth will not be the end of all things, but only the beginning
Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the well. Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it. -- Ecclesiastes 12:6-7

Now I don't have full revelation on this verse from Ecclesiastes, a book of wisdom, so Lord I ask for more wisdom, knowing by faith in Your word that you will give it generously (James 1:5)....but what sticks out so far is that I should 'Remember my Creator' and 'the spirit will return to God who gave it'. Our lives, and bodies here will return to dust, yet we were created as eternal beings. Our spirits live on forever. I am still lacking much revelation on this, but I believe that at the moment of death we will stand before God who gave us life, and we will be assigned an eternal home. Now the best home, the one I am looking forward to, will be with our Lord Jesus forever in His kingdom. The worst home, would be with all the fallen angels and the devil himself, in agony away from the only perfect Love, Jesus. How great our God is! Full of mercy! We don't deserve His love, but He gave it abundantly in His Son Jesus! Thank You Lord!

I was reading Mark 12 and Jesus was asked many questions, one about marriage after death. The religious leaders wondered who this woman who was married seven times would belong to after death. Jesus told them they were 'greatly mistaken'. He reminded them that God said,
" 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. You are therefore greatly mistaken." (vs. 26b-27)

So I thought, why is this important? Possibly to show that marriage is not important? Then I remembered the verse:
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort." 2 Corinthians 1:3 (read the whole chapter)
Could it be that we are to take the comforts of this life and dream of the greater pleasures of God and the coming of His kingdom?! We may for a temporary moment find love and comfort in a husband or wife, but isn't that only to point us to the real Bridegroom, Jesus...then are not all things we find comfort in here on earth fading away, and if we can should we learn to ask God, 'What is this a taste of?' In the Kingdom of God we are promised lasting pleasure beyond our wildest imaginations. I think that God likes to give us fore-tastes of what is to come. He has in many times in history warned of many things to come, and so He also gives us hope by sparking our dreams to be set on His promises, His kingdom, His glory. What were we made for if not to be loved fully by God, and to love Him back completely? These things are to come! Oh! Come Lord Jesus!

Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him. Isaiah 64:4 NIV

However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"--
1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV

KING

But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: 33 partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; 34 for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven. 35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 37 “ For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. 38 Now the]just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” 39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul. Hebrews 10

Jesus, my Lord! You are my confidence. I trust in, rely on, and cling to You, Son of God. Jesus! Worthy of my love, my time, my strength, my thoughts, come and take hold of my heart! You, who allowed himself to endure the greatest pain a man could feel: betrayed, cursed, scorned, beaten, whipped, killed with nails in your hands and feet...Thank You...humiliated to be exalted! I love You Jesus, only Your blood could give me. such mercy...Only Your heart could give me such blood, with all Power in Love! Thank You Jesus! I believe You are God, You are coming again to reign as King over all, and Your desire is for me (all who believe)

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

6 Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. 10 Listen, O daughter, consider and give ear: Forget your people and your father's house. 11 The king is enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord. Psalm 45

“Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.”- Proverbs 29:25

Ask

"Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion" (Ps 84:5-7).

I learned from Os Hilman that the Valley of Baca, is reference to weeping, since Baca means to weep in Hebrew. He points out that in the Valley of Baca there is a place of springs. He suggests that all must go through the weeping on our journey of righteousness, but to remember to ask God for the springs of refreshing and strengthening to sustain us and encourage us along the hard road. SO!!!
I will run the course of Your commandments, For You shall enlarge my heart. Psalms 119:32 NKJ

I will ask Lord, I know that You know my every thought, but somehow it makes Your heart respond when I speak to You. When I believe Your word and promises and speak them back, and ask for them to be made real in my life, Oh God! You are moved by this! Moved by my weak words of faith and all kinds of requests.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Ephesians 6:18 NIV

I guess talking to the Unseen, Uncreated God is a statement of love from my heart to Yours, Jesus. Son of God who gave the Spirit, let Your word come alive in me, and enlarge my heart to love You and receive all the love You are pouring out on me. Lord, thank You for Your promises, bring light into my life when I feed on Your word, and give me prayers to say out loud to You, my friend, my savior, my God. Help me to cry out in the pain for springs of refreshing and for Your strength, that I may keep on going from strength to strength until we meet face to face. You are faithful Jesus! And You will do it! Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, I ask for it all Lord! all that You would have for me, I want it Lord!

You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14:14 NIV

The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 NIV

Outstanding Love

And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings (the passionate desires, the lust) of it; but he who does the will of God and carries out His purposes in his life abides (remains) forever.
1 John 2:17

Will love from God satisfy all our needs? all our desires? He is our creator, therefore He created the desires and needs we genuinely feel. He created them; so why wouldn't He also create the satisfaction? Why are we created, but to be loved by God, and love His Son. God's ingenuity would not allow other false satisfactions, other passions or pleasures to satisfy us. He made us with a purpose. This purpose is not found in the created world. Our purpose is higher. The purpose for man and woman is to be true eternal companions and family of God - the One and only. To get this result from us, those of free will, He must draw and woo us to love Him and to seek His love. So why would other pleasures truly satisfy us?! We were not created to waste away in temporary life. We were created to live forever in fullness of joy, in complete love, surrendered to His original love and desire for us. Only God can satisfy His creation; and He will, of course. To those who choose and seek true satisfaction, He will give it freely.

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
Philippians 2:8

Rightly do we love Him. Why wouldn't He give to those who have responded according to His plan of creation. Those who respond to His love by yearning to be loved and to feel love in order to return love back to Him. What manner of love is this? God becomes man to redeem His beloved, you and I. We were created for love, to be loved and to love, with God as the source. Isn't that all we really want anyway? God is Love

Draw me after you; let us run. The king has brought me into his chambers. Others We will exult and rejoice in you; we will extol your love more than wine; rightly do they love you. She 5I am very dark, but lovely,
Song of Songs 1:4-5a

But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
Isaiah 43:1

I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love; I lifted the yoke from their neck and bent down to feed them. Hosea 11:4

The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.
1 Peter 4:7

Reality

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

Our God is so great! More than 2000 years ago, even from the beginning of time, He knew that we all would turn to evil. Father God knew that He would create a people to be His own, yet they would not be able to stay close to Him, because He is Holy. God predestined to give His only Son Jesus as a sacrifice, spilling His blood in obedience unto death. God is faithful, He would not have left us to perish in our sins. God is righteous, only Himself could redeem us by His very own blood, to Himself. There is none like our God. There is no love greater than the Love of our Father God, Holy is His name. All glory and praise belong to God, our God. Thank You Jesus for our salvation.

For this is what the high and lofty One says-- he who lives forever, whose name is holy: "I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.
Isaiah 57:15 NIV

For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance--now that he has died as a ransom
to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
Hebrews 9:15 NIV

He has sent redemption to His people;
He has commanded His covenant forever:
Holy and awesome is His name.
Psalms 111:9 NKJ

For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth.
He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth.
Psalms 96:13 NKJ
