Caused to Approach

Psalm 65 is a beautiful psalm to read aloud, to ponder, and to praise Our Creator God from.  The Lord is beautiful in Holiness, yet HE chooses us to pour out mercy on, to forgive our sins, and bless us with daily benefits from the abundance of His fullness.  HE provides for the needs of all the earth, and satisfies us with His goodness.  By this goodness we are caused to approach Him, knowing that He hears, answers, and acts.  I give You Praise! Great are You, Lord of the Universe, who calms the seas with ease, and the turmoil of the nations is silenced by Your wisdom alone.  Jesus, You rule.  


Psalm 65:4
Blessed is the man You choose, And cause to approachYou,That he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Of Your holy temple.


Let the cities of sin, become places of refuge. O God have mercy! Bring revelation to those addicted to the fading glory of this age, and show them eternal glory! Reveal Your everlasting beauty and strength to those in bondage, to break their chains and set them free! Shine! O Creator!  Let us hear You crying out in the streets, let us hear Your truth, and Your Spirit!  Give us the fear of the Lord, and draw us nearer to You, Father God.  Your Kingdom come! Your will be done! Your wisdom be glorified! Your presence be magnified all around us! Let us see Your glory!  God, You are good, and Your mercy endures forever!

O Lord God! Fill me with the knowledge of You!  Cause me to seek You daily, let me hunger and thirst for righteousness, and be only satisfied with You!  Jesus thanks and praise be to Your name! Our Savior forever!  Glory be to You the Living God!  Who once was dead, but rose again!  All blessing, honor, power, and glory are Yours forever, Lord Jesus!  You alone are worthy to be praised!

WHEN ALL 

MEANS FAIL

To believe when all means fail is exceedingly pleasing to God and is most acceptable. Jesus said to Thomas, “You have believed because you have seen, but blessed are those that do believe and have not seen” (Jn 20:29).

Blessed are those who believe when there is no evidence of an answer to prayer—who trust beyond hope when all means have failed.

Someone has come to the place of hopelessness—the end of hope—the end of all means. A loved one is facing death and doctors give no hope. Death seems inevitable. Hope is gone. The miracle prayed for is not happening.

That is when Satan’s hordes come to attack your mind with fear, anger, overwhelming questions: “Where is your God now? You prayed until you had no tears left. You fasted. You stood on promises. You trusted.”

Blasphemous thoughts will be injected into your mind: “Prayer failed. Faith failed. Don’t quit on God—just do not trust him anymore. It doesn’t pay!”

Even questioning God’s existence will be injected into your mind. These have been the devices of Satan for centuries.  Some of the godliest men and women who ever lived were under such demonic attacks.

To those going through the valley and shadow of death, hear this word: Weeping will last through some dark, awful nights—and in that darkness you will soon hear the Father whisper,  “I am with you.  I cannot tell you why right now, but one day it will all make sense.  You will see it was all part of my plan. It was no accident. It was no failure on your part.  Hold fast. Let Me embrace you in your hour of pain.”

Beloved, God has never failed to act but in goodness and love. When all means fail—his love prevails.  Hold fast to your faith. Stand fast in his Word.  There is no other hope in this world.

It's in His Kiss

If you wanna know if He loves you so....


John 16:26-27 In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you; ²⁷ for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God. 


The Lord God is not far away or mysterious in His expression of love towards us!  He has shown the greatness of this love in the person of Jesus, who God sent to save us from death and sin!  Oh! the depths of this Love! What kind of King and God would save His rebel people?! What kind of Father would relentlessly go after a defiant child who has turned their back on the family and spat at the inheritance?! What kind of King would go into the fire in place of His subjects?  Jesus!!  the Son of God, in obedience to the Father and for the joy set before Him, would take on all the wrath meant for us sinners, and pour out His own blood to make Himself our Righteousness, that we could be with Him where He is, seated in heaven ruling over all nations.  I join now with the songs of heaven and say, "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain!" glory be to Jesus! King of kings! Lord of lords! Merciful, Gracious, Patient One, who is God alone!   Revelation 5:11-13

Do not look to any other person, place, movie, book...entertainment and social interaction can only be beneficial and lasting if it is Christ centered! O God set my mind on things above, through Your Holy Spirit and Word teach me your ways, your emotions...revelation, wisdom, understanding of this God and King in who alone we can know if He loves me so...it's in the kiss of His word!

Revelation 1  One like the Son of Man... ¹⁴ His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; ¹⁵ His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; ¹⁶ He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

The word of the Lord like a sharp sword bringing truth to every heart!  His voice like many waters! Loud and powerful, washing clean!  Declaring the Love of God and the salvation offered to those who repent and call on His name! We all are in need and searching for love and truth, because God has put it in us to find Him who is the Word, the Truth and the Light.

Job 41
 ¹⁹ Out of his mouth go burning lights;
      Sparks of fire shoot out.
 ²⁰ Smoke goes out of his nostrils,
      As from a boiling pot and burning rushes.
 ²¹ His breath kindles coals,
      And a flame goes out of his mouth.

Psalm 119

103 How sweet are Your words to my taste,
         Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
¹⁰⁴ Through Your precepts I get understanding;
         Therefore I hate every false way. ¹⁰⁵ Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

The world is full of darkness, and my heart is dark! But, You O Lord say I am lovely! Jesus You are the light, Your word lights up the way of Truth, lifting my head to know that hope is found, love is found, salvation is found in God alone! Set my heart ablaze as I take in Your words and meditate in conversation with Your Holy Spirit.  I want to burn with Your truth in these times of deception, fill me with Your Holy revelation and wisdom in all understanding.  In Jesus name I ask to a burning one in the wilderness of confusion and fear, let me burn with the gospel of Jesus to bring light and hope, to prepare the way of the Lord. May the name of Jesus, Son of God be lived higher, and higher!
