To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen. "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:6-8 (New International Version)
They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." Acts 1:10-11 (New International Version)
I was thinking today about when our God Jesus returns. "Splits the Sky" and comes in all His glory to rule over all, to rule here on earth. When every eye will see Him, and when those that love Him will be like Him. We know in part, but then we will know in full, beholding face to face, seeing clearly, understanding that we have been fully understood.
For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [by God]. 1 Corinthians 13:12 AMP

I was wondering why do we see so dimly now? Why do we have to know in part? I want to see like Peter and John saw, like Paul saw - Jesus in person. I want to ask for more! Then I thought of that verse.....
[Addressing her shepherd, she said] Tell me, O you whom my soul loves, where you pasture your flock, where you make it lie down at noon. For why should I [as I think of you] be as a veiled one straying beside the flocks of your companions? Song of Solomon 1:7
So I am beginning to ask Jesus, why should I be like a veiled one? Lord, take the coal, purify my body, mind, and soul, that I may see you! I plead Your blood! Show me Your glory Lord! You, Jesus are my Shepherd, and I am Yours...Your desire is for me! I desire You too! I plead Your blood over my eyes and ears, Lord let me see as I hear Your voice. I love You Jesus, it pleases You that I return desire for You, even as You have greatly desired me! Blessing be upon the lover of My Soul, My Husband, My Maker! Come Lord Jesus!
Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Psalm 100:3
I am my beloved’s, And my beloved is mine. He feeds his flock among the lilies. Song of Songs 6:3
I am the Good Shepherd; and I know and recognize My own, and My own know and recognize Me--
Even as [truly as] the Father knows Me and I also know the Father--and I am giving My [very own] life and laying it down on behalf of the sheep.
John 10:14-18
