Psalm 89
5 All heaven will praise your great wonders, Lord;
myriads of angels will praise you for your faithfulness.
6 For who in all of heaven can compare with the Lord?
What mightiest angel is anything like the Lord?
7 The highest angelic powers stand in awe of God.
He is far more awesome than all who surround his throne.
8 O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies!
Where is there anyone as mighty as you, O Lord?
You are entirely faithful.
I find it so intriguing that in these verses the psalmist discusses the greatness, the power, the awesome might, the complete authority over all that God has, but makes mention multiple times of His great faithfulness. God does so many wonders that even the most powerful angels cannot fathom or attempt, and they praise Him for His faithfulness! The question: "Where is there anyone as mighty as you?" is followed by..."You are entirely faithful"
This makes my mind reel over my own questions? What is it to be might? What are real wonders? If faithfulness actually one of the greatest feats of strength in all the universe? Or maybe faithfulness is only accomplished by(or with the help of) the Lord of Heaven's Armies, that being the name of God, the name of Jesus, the Faithful witness of God the Father. Jesus is the exact representation of Our Father. Holy is He, I will ask and we shall see... Fascinated and intrigued by God...a fate better than boredom, better than fleeting pleasures of this world, and one that is faithful never to disappoint. I believe we will be intrigued by God with increasing measure for all eternity...forever and ever!
I am grateful that Our Lord God is faithful, because He makes so many wonderful promises in His Word. One promise I am very glad about tonight is the promise in Isaiah 1:
16 Wash yourselves and be clean!
Get your sins out of my sight.
Give up your evil ways.
17 Learn to do good.
Seek justice.
Help the oppressed.
Defend the cause of orphans.
Fight for the rights of widows.
18 “Come now, let’s settle this,”
says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
I will make them as white as snow.
Though they are red like crimson,
I will make them as white as wool.
19 If you will only obey me,
you will have plenty to eat.
20 But if you turn away and refuse to listen,
you will be devoured by the sword of your enemies.
I, the Lord, have spoken!”
I have sinned and I know that without the faithfulness of God, His commitment to winning my heart and affections forever, without His offering His own Son on the Cross in my place, without God so loving the world...I would be doomed to suffer eternally. Thank You Father God for sending Jesus to be my Savior, Your grace is all I need and You have poured out mercy upon me. Thank You God
Now I search Your truths, for they give me life! I seek Your words for they bring light into my darkness! I love Your judgement because You love me enough to teach me obedience, so I can love You back. Whatever I may feel from time to time, the ups, the downs, I know I can go to Your Word God and find my Rock of Salvation, the Truth that will set me free, and bring me out of confusion and into the realm of glory and eternal hope. I am looking for Your city that You have built God, and I will not settle! Give me faith to keep waiting on You Lord, let no one else and nothing else intrigue me like You O Lord! There is none like You! I will seek to find You, to know You and experience Your love each day. You are entirely Faithful, Jesus.

The Bible tells me so,
You will never let me go,
Now by Your blood Jesus
I find all I need that pleases
Hiding Your words in my heart
Shedding light on every single part
Awaken my soul
You are in control
Looking up for Your appearing
Watching, waiting, it is nearing
